Visitor visa to travel to Brazil

Citizens from Australia can apply for an eVisa by visiting https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/.

In case of doubts about your application, please send an email to brazilevisa@vfsglobal.com. Please include your full name, country of citizenship, reference number, information about the device you are using to access the website, and a description of the problem in detail, including a screenshot or photo of the error as an attachment. 

You may also use VFS Global chat at https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/contact-us. 

Brazilian nationals, even if also nationals from the above-mentioned countries, cannot apply for an eVisa. To travel to Brazil, it is mandatory to have a valid Brazilian passport.

Applying for a visa in person

• Make sure you have the correct type of visa based on the purpose of your trip. 
• Read all the information carefully and collect all necessary documentation.
• Fill out the online visa application form completely, and print and sign the Visa Request Form Receipt – RER.
• Purchase the postal order(s) to pay the visa fee.
• Upload the required documents to the E-Consular platform, clearly informing the purpose of your trip to Brazil.  
• Once the documents are approved on the E-Consular platform, the original documentation can be sent by mail.  All applications must include a pre-paid return envelope exclusively from the Australia Post.
