Pantanal

100 km from Cuiabá, the capital of Mato Grosso is where this incredible experience begins. Along the way, we see the cerrado and the Pantanal region.

The main activity is boat trips on rivers, in bays and one of the fine boat rides most sought-after mainly by tourists. The Jaguars come to the riverbeds between May and October to cool off.

Chapada dos Guimaraes

Chapada dos Guimarães, located approximately 60km from the capital, is a beloved destination among locals. This enchanting region unfolds a tapestry of wonders, featuring numerous trails adorned with crystal-clear rivers, inviting natural pools, cascading waterfalls, and rejuvenating spas. Along the main road, you’ll encounter captivating viewpoints that offer a perfect vantage point to appreciate some of the most breathtaking sunsets that nature has to offer.

Exploring one of the primary trails in Chapada dos Guimarães unveils a remarkable spectacle – housing one of Brazil’s largest sandstone caves. Along this trail, you’ll have the opportunity to visit over three caves and the mesmerizing Blue Lagoon. During a specific season, the lagoon undergoes a captivating transformation, showcasing a brilliant blue hue or a lush green tone, depending on the interplay of sunlight filtering through the cave.

Scientific evidence attests that Chapada dos Guimarães once lay beneath the ocean, a fact illustrated by the stunning reddish-sandstone walls that grace the landscape. These walls, a defining postcard of the state of Mato Grosso (MT), serve as a testament to its geological history. Paired with these impressive formations are panoramic viewpoints that offer a unique perspective of both the capital and the expansive Pantanal region. The convergence of these elements creates a canvas for some of the most captivating sunsets, further enhancing the natural beauty of this remarkable state.
